Barbie Dolls made in the 1990s

The 1990s introduced a whole new change in the way barbie dolls were made, collected, and categorized. Barbie dolls were sold under collector labels to denote rarity and quality of design.
One of the most popular series of Barbie Dolls made in the 1990s was the Happy Holiday Barbie Collection. The first edition of the Happy Holiday barbie dolls series was introduced in 1988 and continued until the final dolls were made in the late 1990's.
Many designers made barbie dolls throughout the 1990s including dolls for FAO Shwartz and the Bob Mackie line. The Spiegal Exclusive barbie dolls made from 1991-1997 remain as some of the most expensive barbies made in the 1990's.
Other less expensive barbie dolls became equally popular in the 1990s such as the Holiday Grocery Store Pink label line and the Millenium Princess Dolls.
Barbie Porcelain Dolls were made popular in the 1990s as well and some editions from this series remain quite valuable to collectors as well.
