Value of Holiday Barbies

There is a wide fascination with Holiday Barbies and many collectors value them. But what is the real market value of Holiday Barbies?

Holiday Barbies were introduced in 1988 and many of the early dolls carry a value at least double their original retail price.

Holiday Barbies that appear to have the most market value are those introduced prior to 1991. Many Holiday Barbies marketed after 1991 still carry higher than retail values.

Original 1988 Barbies in (MIB) Mint In Box or NRFB (Never Removed From Box) condition can command a value of at least $700. This does of course depend on the route you take to sell or auction your Holiday Barbies.

Here is a list describing Holiday Barbies introduced between 1988 and 1997 and their approximate market value.

Holiday Barbies produced from 1995 to current are still highly collectible but typically have a value of $40 to $60. This is only somewhat higher than the Holiday Barbies retail value at the time of purchase.

The Holiday Barbies on our list also include descriptions of the typical dress and gown colors as well as date produced and range of price values. Value ranges assume the Holiday Barbies to be in Mint or near Mint Condition.
